Shipping Carbon Fiber Parts Worldwide: Lead Times, Warehouses, Customs & Dropshipping

A perfect carbon fiber part is worthless if it arrives late, damaged, or stuck in customs. Logistics is where many orders go wrong — especially large, fragile parts like hoods, roofs, and full body kits.

As a manufacturer shipping worldwide since 2002, here is how we handle delivery at JC AUTOCARBON, and what you should confirm with any supplier before paying a deposit.

Where Do Orders Ship From?

Depending on stock and your order, products ship from:

  • Our China factory — full catalog, made-to-order production
  • Overseas warehouses in North America and Europe — popular items in local stock

If an item is in an overseas warehouse near you, delivery is days, not weeks. If it is made to order, we confirm the production time before you pay — so you always know the real delivery date up front.

Shipping Options: Express, Air, or Sea

We support all major international shipping methods:

Express (DHL / FedEx / UPS)

Fastest: usually about 3–7 days to most countries

Best for: small parts — mirror covers, trim, interior pieces, samples

Air Freight

Fast: typically 1–2 weeks including handling

Best for: medium-size parts and urgent B2B restocking

Sea Freight

Most economical for large or heavy orders

Best for: bulk orders, full body kits, container shipments

For B2B customers, we can also discuss DDP terms (we handle duties and delivery to your door), overseas warehouse stocking, and local delivery options.

How Are Large Parts Protected?

Oversized parts like hoods and bumpers cannot just go in a cardboard box. We use:

  • Custom-fit foam protection on all surfaces and edges
  • Reinforced cartons or wooden crates for large parts
  • Clear fragile labeling and handling instructions
  • Packaging inspection before the shipment leaves
If damage still occurs in transit:

photograph the packaging and the part, contact us quickly with your order details, and we will work the case through the logistics or insurance process to a solution.

Who Pays Customs Fees?

Customs duties, taxes, and import fees depend on your country, the shipping terms, and local regulations. To keep responsibility clear, we agree on shipping terms before shipment:

  • EXW — you arrange everything from our factory door
  • FOB — we deliver to the port; you handle freight and import
  • DDP — we handle delivery including duties to your address

Not sure which fits you?

How Can I Track My Order?

Every order gets tracking updates through our system. For custom projects, you can follow key stages:

Design → Mold development → First sample → Revision → Mass production → QC → Packing → Shipment

No more emailing “any update?” every week — you can see where your project stands.

Do You Support Dropshipping?

Yes. For selected products with overseas warehouse stock, we support dropshipping cooperation:

  • Product data and images for your store
  • Warehouse-based fulfillment direct to your customer
  • Neutral or private-label packaging options

For long-term dealers and distributors, we can also plan forecasts, semi-finished inventory, staged delivery, and priority production for high-demand products — so your bestsellers never go out of stock.
