Fitment, Installation & Safety Notes
Installation: stick-on covers take five minutes per side with 3M tape — surface prep with isopropyl alcohol is the critical step. Replacement caps unclip the factory cap and clip on — 10–15 minutes with a trim tool.
Variant check: mirrors with integrated turn signals, cameras or blind-spot lights need the matching mold variant. Send us your mirror photo if unsure.
Paint & PPF: clear-coated carbon can be PPF-wrapped like paint. If you plan to paint-match, order the matte finish for best adhesion prep.
Stick-on cover or full replacement — which should I stock?
Stick-on covers are cheaper and universal-friendly; replacements look OEM and sell at a premium. Most of our distributor partners carry both.
Will the tape hold in car washes and winter?
Yes — genuine 3M VHB, the same class OEMs use for exterior trim. Proper surface prep is what makes it permanent.
Do replacements keep the factory functions?
Yes — replacement caps use the OEM clips and clear all indicators, cameras and folding mechanisms on the matched variant.
