20PCS

Why We Recommend Ordering 20 Pieces

Making 20 pieces in one run — and shipping them together — costs far less per piece than making one or two. The labor and the freight get shared across the whole batch. That’s why 20 pcs is where you hit the lowest unit price, on in-stock parts and custom orders alike. And you can mix different parts and models in the same batch.

MOQ isn’t fixed for every part — it depends on size, process and packing. Send us your part list and we’ll put together the best price plan for it.

What Affects the Price of a Carbon Fiber Eye Lids?

There’s no mystery in eye lids pricing — a handful of things decide the number. Know them, and you’ll plan a better order. You’ll also see exactly why our factory price sits so far below retail.

Standard or Dry Carbon? Same Eyelid, Two Prices

An eyelid is a look part. It sits on the headlight (or the tail lamp, on our tail lamp eyebrows) and carries no load. So the price question is not about strength. It is about how the carbon is made, and how clean the weave looks up close.

Standard · Wet Carbon

For Most Builds

Wet carbon layup, gloss finish, tape fit. Real carbon with a deep shine, at the entry price. On a trim this size, this grade is all most cars need.

$25–$80 / pair
Dry Carbon · Pre-preg

For the Best Weave

Pre-preg carbon cured in an autoclave. The weave is crisper, the part is thinner and lighter, and the edges come out cleaner. On a part that frames the headlights, the difference shows from across the parking lot.

+60–120% over standard
Gloss wet carbon headlight eyelids next to satin dry carbon pre-preg eyelids

Why the gap? Four reasons:

  1. Material cost. Pre-preg fabric costs 2 to 3 times more than standard cloth, and it ships frozen with an expiry date. Waste is real money even on small trims.
  2. The autoclave. Dry carbon cures under heat and pressure for hours per cycle. Small parts share a cycle, but mold time is still the main cost.
  3. The edge work. Eyelids sit against curved lamp lenses, so the edge line has to be tight. Dry carbon holds a thinner, straighter edge than wet layup.
  4. Options. Forged carbon (marble look) adds about 20%, matte finish about 10%. These are extra process steps, not markups.

An honest note from the factory side: an eyelid carries no load. Do not buy dry carbon for strength you will never use. Buy it for the weave and the edge line, or take standard wet carbon and put the rest toward mirror covers or fog lamp covers. We sell both happily, we just want you to pay for the right reason.

Not sure which type you need? Tell us the model and your target quantity. We quote both types so you can compare.

Carbon Fiber Eye Lids Prices by Vehicle Model

Prices move with the car. Here’s what popular models go for at retail — and what the same eye lids costs factory-direct from JC AUTOCARBON:

For context: US retail shops list carbon eyelids at $35 to $150 a pair depending on the model and whether the part is wet or dry carbon (public listings, checked October 2026). Good products. But a large part of those prices is brand and distribution, not carbon.

Total Cost: More Than the Part Price

The price of the part itself isn’t the whole bill. When you plan a eye lids order, budget for the full landing cost:

Cost ItemTypical RangeNotes
The eye lids themselves$25–$120 / pair factory-direct20-pc batch = lowest unit price
InstallationDIYClean, tape, done — 10 minutes
3M tapeIncludedRemovable with heat
Freight & import dutiesVaries by countryDuties & VAT depend on the destination — ask us for a DDP quote

Two rules of thumb from our side of the table:

  1. Eyelids are a five-minute DIY job. Clean the lamp, test fit, then set the tape. No tools, no shop bill.
  2. Tell us headlight or tail lamp upfront. The molds are different and the prices differ a little. The lamp decides the quote, so tell us before we price it.

How JC AUTOCARBON keeps this number down: in-stock parts ship from our US / EU warehouses — no surprise import duties, no 6-week wait on the water, no long haul that can damage the part. For batches we ship by sea on DDP terms — the number we quote is the number you pay.

Two Real Quote Examples

Price lists are useful. Real quotes are better. Here are two typical orders, broken down line by line, so you can see where every dollar goes.

Example A · Standard Wet Carbon, Existing Mold

An EU accessories shop orders 100 headlight eyelid pairs for the BMW G20 3 Series.

Example B · Dry Carbon, Existing Mold

A US Honda parts dealer orders 30 dry carbon tail lamp eyebrow pairs for the Honda Civic (10th gen).

Inspection on carbon fiber headlight eyelids at the JC AUTOCARBON factory

Always included, never charged: existing mold use ($0 tooling fee), standard gloss finish, 3M tape pre-applied, a pre-shipment fit check with photos, and foam protection on every pair.

* These are walkthroughs, not quotes. Your number follows your spec. Tell us the model, the lamp (headlight or tail lamp) and the quantity, and we reply with an itemized quote within 12 hours.

Real Carbon Fiber vs Vinyl Wrap

A carbon-look vinyl wrap costs a fraction of the real thing. If you only want the look for a while, it does the job.

But a wrap is a printed sticker. Up close — and every time you touch it — you feel the difference. Real carbon has depth, texture and a weave you can see into. A wrap has a flat pattern, and it starts peeling at the edges within a couple of years, right where people look most. Real carbon just stays.

What Cheap Eye Lids Really Cost You

Two parts can look identical in a photo and behave completely differently on the car. Low prices usually come from three shortcuts:

Weak Layup

Thin lids warp and lose the headlight line.

Inaccurate Molds

The curve doesn’t match the lens — the edges lift.

No Stress Testing

Highway wind finds every loose edge.

A cheap eye lids can end up costing more: returns, refunds, weeks of delay, body-shop rework — and if you resell, damage to your own name.

Three Tips to Get the Lowest Factory Price

  1. Pick an existing mold when one fits — no tooling fee at all
  2. Order a mixed 20-pc batch — that’s the lowest unit-price tier
  3. Ship from our overseas warehouse or by sea — freight is where the big savings hide

Carbon Fiber Eye Lids Pricing FAQ

Yes — you pay for the mold once. After that, every repeat order is just unit cost, and lead times get shorter too.

You do, if you funded it. We can also sign an exclusivity agreement, so the design is never offered to other buyers.

Yes. Prototypes and samples start at 1 piece. A sample costs more per piece than a batch, but part of it comes off your first production order.

At 20 pieces, production, labor and freight spread out best — that’s where the unit price bottoms out. You can mix different parts and models in one batch. MOQ isn’t the same for every part, though — send us your list and we’ll work out the best plan for your quantity.

Retail has layers: distributor margin, brand markup, local stock cost. At JC AUTOCARBON you buy from the factory that makes the part — no layers in between. The same eye lids that retails at $50–$300 leaves our factory at $25–$120.

No. Eye lids mount with automotive 3M tape and can be removed with heat without damaging the lens. Clean the surface before install for the strongest bond.

Clean the lens, tape on, done in 10 minutes. $0 — and removable with heat if you change your mind.

Orders shipped from our US / EU warehouses are already imported — no extra duties for you. Factory batch orders can ship DDP: duties and taxes are included in our quote, so the number we give you is the number you pay.

EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP. In-stock parts ship from our US / EU overseas warehouses; custom and molded orders ship from the factory by sea, air or express.

Yes. Most of our catalog is headlight eyelids, but we also hold molds for tail lamp eyebrows on models like the Civic. Tell us the model and which lamp, and we confirm the mold before quoting.

Only for the look. Eyelids carry no load, so dry carbon buys you a crisper weave and a thinner edge right at eye level, not strength. If the car is a daily driver, wet carbon does the job for about half the price.
