Why Carbon

Why Carbon Fiber Air & Exhaust Parts — and What to Look For

Intake and exhaust-area carbon is functional first: intake pipes smooth and insulate the airflow path, airbox lids and exhaust surrounds finish the look. These parts live where heat and airflow meet, so resin choice is engineering, not aesthetics.

Our intake and exhaust-area pieces use heat-resistant resin systems and, where the design demands, integrated heat-shield layers. Fitment follows factory mounting points and coupler dimensions.

Heat-resistant layup

Resin systems rated for intake and exhaust-adjacent temperatures

Smooth-bore interiors

Hand-finished inner surfaces on intake piping

Factory coupler fit

Matches OEM diameters and mounting points

Customization

What You Can Customize on an Air & Exhaust Part

Intake Pipes & Airbox Lids

Full intake tubes, airbox covers and inlet ducts in carbon — smoother flow path and lower heat soak than plastic.

Exhaust Surrounds & Tip Trims

Diffuser-integrated surrounds and tip trims that frame the exhaust without touching it.

Custom Diameters

Non-standard coupler sizes and bent layouts available on custom tooling.

Wet vs Dry Carbon

Wet carbon for value; prepreg dry carbon for the best heat margin and finish.

Weave & Color

2×2 twill, 1×1 plain, forged carbon — matched to engine bay covers if ordered together.

Finish

High-gloss or matte/satin. Satin hides bay dust best; gloss is the show standard.

Before You Order

Fitment, Installation & Safety Notes

Installation: intake pieces swap with factory couplers and clamps — 20–40 minutes with basic tools. Check clamp torque after the first heat cycle.

Heat clearance: exhaust-adjacent pieces are shaped for clearance, not contact. If your car runs an aftermarket exhaust with different routing, send photos and we will confirm fit.

Care: intake tubes clean with a damp cloth — no solvent sprays in the bay. Satin finish hides dust between meets; gloss shows the weave deepest.

FAQ

Carbon Fiber Air & Exhaust Parts Questions

Does a carbon intake actually add power?

The gains are airflow smoothness and lower heat soak versus plastic — modest alone, real when combined with a tune. The visual upgrade is immediate.

Can carbon handle exhaust-area heat?

Exhaust-adjacent pieces use heat-resistant resin and are shaped for clearance. Direct contact with hot exhaust components is out of spec for any carbon part.

Will it fit my aftermarket setup?

Intake pieces match factory coupler diameters and mounting points. For modified setups, send photos and measurements — we confirm or quote custom tooling within 12 hours.

Which models already have molds?

6 models across 3 brands. Filter the catalog above, or send us your model and we will confirm within 12 hours.

How are these parts shipped?

Foam-lined cartons sized per piece. Sea freight default for batches; air freight available for urgent pieces.

What is the MOQ for existing-mold customization?

No strict MOQ on catalog designs — one piece is fine. Best unit cost starts around 20 pcs, and mixed parts count toward the batch.
