Canards are pure adhesive installs — no screws, no clips, no drilling. That makes them the easiest carbon parts to mount and the easiest to mount crooked. Because they sit at eye level on the bumper, a 3 mm difference between left and right is visible from across the parking lot. This guide is about getting the bond right and the symmetry perfect, the first time.
As the manufacturer, every canard set we ship mounts with 3M VHB double-sided tape or adhesive sealant — your choice, same positions. This is the procedure for both front bumper canards and rear canards.

Tape or sealant? Tape is faster, repositionable for the first seconds, and removable later with fishing line. Sealant (glass adhesive) fills small surface gaps better and is essentially permanent. Both are rated for highway speeds — pick tape unless the bumper surface is heavily curved at the contact zone.
